Mandala ~

My idea was vines and roses. I love roses, as you can see in some of my artwork. I tried using my unisals ANG with the vines. I used paint mostly. They reflect each other, I would like to learn more about reflection of things like or water and etc.

Mexico Maps ~

Baja California

Information about my map: Baja California Mexico is the Second-longest peninsula on earth. Official language is Spanish with many indigenous languages spoken. Almost 75% of the Baja population lives in 2 cities located at the border it shares with the United States. The Tijuana Border is the most crossed international border in the world.
Climate ~ Baja Mexico can generally be considered warm and dry throughout the year. The northeast of Baja has desert throughout much of its area and has higher temperatures as a result. The northwest is cool by the Pacific Ocean and experiences lower temperatures on average during the winter. To the south Baja Sur gets more tropical. In between, there are many micro climates depending on location and altitude.
Population ~ Home to some of the world's friendliest people, Baja Mexico is spread out and sparsely populated. Over 75% of the population lives along the northernmost border. It presently has an estimated total population of just under 3 million with almost half of these people living in the very northwest corner of the peninsula in the city of Tijuana.

Begining the project, we used a canvas, napkins and a paint brush. We twisted the napkins, to make the curves/road then dipped it in glue and put it up there. We painted it the next day, my colors were purple and red. Then the next day we used brown and gold. The brown looked like melted chocolate.
The picture above this one is my finished project then the bottom one is mine in the hall, Mrs. Spruill is connecting the maps.

Fingerprints ~

Begining of my finger print, right now I've traced it and started writing my describtion of myself. The big letters are made to stand out because that's what I really love and enjoy.

I finished writing about myself and then I used the watercolor pencils and added color.

From begining to end , we traced our own fingerprints, then when I was finished the big one, I made a mini fingerprint. This is almost finished..

"You should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art." - Oscar Wilde

I picked the picture above because paint was on her outfit, as you know you use paint in art. Art is Fashion and Fashion is art.

My LOVE of big hair , to strips , cheetah & other prints. As you can see, patterns is a form of art, to zentangles to straight lines. Art is always in the clothes you wear.
